Dave Rogers.
Dave was born in London in 1941. After studying architecture at Willesden
Technical College he went on to work for a well-known architectural practice
in London’s West End.
After a varied career including his own business making awnings, sails, boat covers and flags and banners Dave moved to Braunston in 1995 just one year before we took over The Boat Shop.
As a member and past Chairman of The Guild of Waterway Artists and owner of narrowboat “Siberia” Dave has, over the last ten years, had the opportunity to indulge his passion for all aspects of the Inland Waterways, its history and its architecture and have produced many fine pictures in his favourite charcoal and pastel.
Carol and I became friends with Dave and his wife Annie shortly after we came to Braunston and we now show what I believe to be the largest single collection of his work. While we cannot hope to show it all on this website you can point at the thumbnail images below to see just a few of his more recent pictures.
We hope that, having seen the quality of his work, you will want to make the long (or short!) journey to us to see more.

Whether to remind you of your time on the canals or to console you while you wait to get back to boating, pictures, perhaps, give that something special that no other memento can provide.
Below you will see a small selection of Dave Rogers' work. Point at any of the images for a bigger view.
